For 39 years, Gary Gardner has been an active litigation attorney. On average, Gary has been to court at least once a day – every day since his admission to the bar.

PPO Special Master

Gary was appointed as Special Master in the Wayne County Circuit Court, where for 1 1/2 years he heard Personal Protection Order cases.

Mediator

A Trained Family Law Mediator, Gary understands that there are special circumstances that families in the process of a divorce, or are involved in post-judgment litigation are undergoing.

Bar Association President

Gary is the founder and first president of the Wayne Country Family law Bar Association, and organization of over 150 family law attorneys, and is a past president of the Dearborn Bar Association.

Not Just A Divorce Lawyer

In addition to Family Law Cases, Gary has experience in Circuit Court matters and District Court Matters, Including drunk driving, assault and larceny cases, landlord tenant and collection matters and traffic cases.

Persistent

While Gary is not an appeal attorney, he has filed appeals in the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, and Petitioned for a Writ of Certiorari in the Supreme Court of the United States.

Community Service

For 10 years, Gary served on the State Bar of Michigan, Domestic Violence Committee, and the Law Practice Management Section Council. For 20 years Gary has been a volunteer softball coach for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Personal

Gary has been married since 1984, has 3 daughters, and is actively involved in his community including serving his church as a lector and usher as well as a candidate for Circuit Court, District Court, and State Representative.
